KASHMIR – In occupied Kashmir Indian Army has disgraced 6 Kashmiri womenand destroyed more than 62 houses in the search and cordon operations.
In reaction to the Indian Army brutalities a march will be conductedtowards Shopian town on Friday to register protest against the surge incivilian killings, shootings and assaults by Indian troops in theterritory, Radio Pakistan has reported.
Call for the march has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership.
The resistance leaders have urged the people to converge at Shopian inlarge number and offer congregational prayers at Jamia Masjid.
Later, a rally will be conducted from Jamia Masjid to the main chowkShopian to express solidarity with the families of five civilians who weremartyred in the brutal actions of Indian troops in the district.
Meanwhile, thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of a10-year-old boy, Musharraf Fayaz Najar, in Datmudoor area of Shopian today.They chanted pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
Complete shutdown continued in Shopian and Pulwama districts on the ninthconsecutive day on Thursday, against the killings.
On the other hand, the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir MediaService today said that the Indian troops, in their unabated acts of stateterrorism, martyred 18 Kashmiris during the last month.
147 people were injured due to the firing of bullets, pellets and teargasshells by the Indian troops and police against peaceful protesters while137 civilians including Hurriyet leaders and activists were arrested.
Indian forces also destroyed and damaged 62 residential houses anddisgraced 6 women during the the one month.
