Hudaibiya Papers Mills Case haunts Sharif family yet again

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Thursday filed a reviewappeal in the Supreme Court, requesting for a larger bench to review thedecision of three-member bench in Hudaibya Paper Mills case.

The Supreme Court had dismissed NAB’s appeal for reopening of the Hudaibiyacase on December 15, 2017.

The bench was headed by Justice Mushir Alam and comprised Justices QaziFaez Isa and Mazhar Alam Miankhel.

The Rs1.2 billion Hudaibya Paper Mills case, involving money launderingcharges against the Sharif family, was initiated by NAB in 2000 but quashedby the Lahore High Court (LHC) in 2014. The NAB had appealed the LHCdecision in the Supreme Court.
