ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Energy has removed Chief Executives of four powerdistribution companies from their posts.
Spokesperson of Ministry in a statement said Chief Executives of Peshawar,Lahore, Sukkar and Quetta have been removed for failing to control linelosses in their respective areas.
The Spokesperson said 7.13 billion electricity units were provided toconsumers in 2017 as compared to 6.58 billion units in 2016.
He said Power Division is trying to overcome line losses, theft and otherproblems by taking strict actions.
