ISLAMABAD: In a significant boost to bilateral ties, Saudi Crown PrinceMohammed bin Salman has expressed his intention to undertake an officialvisit to Pakistan in 2026 during a warm telephone conversation with PrimeMinister Shehbaz Sharif on December 31, 2025. The leaders reaffirmed theircommitment to further strengthening the historic fraternal relationsbetween the two nations.

The Prime Minister’s Office described the call as very warm and cordial,with Prime Minister Sharif conveying respectful regards and best wishes toCustodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and theCrown Prince. He expressed profound gratitude for the Crown Prince’sconsistent support and affection towards Pakistan.Both leaders noted withsatisfaction that bilateral relations have reached new heights in recentmonths, particularly following multiple high-level engagements throughout2025.
