Pakistani and Chinese Foreign Ministers make new year resolution

Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in thefields of agriculture, investment, transfer of technology, research andeducation.

The understanding reached during a telephonic conversation between ForeignMinister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Chinese Counterpart Wang Yi.

Wishing his Chinese Counterpart a Happy New Year, Shah Mahmood Qureshistressed the need for enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordinationbetween Pakistan and China to meet new challenges in the wake of fastchanging global scenario.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Hindutva policies of Modi-led regime in India areposing serious threats to the peace and stability of the Asian region.

He stressed the need for immediate action by the international community tostop the exploitation of the Kashmiri people by the Indian occupying forcesand the ongoing gross human rights violations in Illegally Indian OccupiedJammu and Kashmir.
