In India, Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh has strongly criticizedthe Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for running false propaganda on the lawand order situation just to delay the upcoming local bodies’ elections inthe state.
Addressing the people in Mohali, he said the BJP is afraid of failure inelections as the Party has lost popularity because of ‘black’ farmlaws.
Trashing the BJP’s claims that the central government has accepted thedemands of farmers, he explained that had their demands been conceded, thefarmers would not have continued their protest.
