KARACHI – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has allowed the authorizeddealers to effect advance payments up to US $10,000 per invoice on behalfof importers cum exporters for import of raw materials, accessories andspares.
The decision has been taken in a view of proliferate export and generateeconomic activity through the industrial units intending to import sparesand raw material for export of finished goods, said a statement issued hereon Tuesday.
The central bank earlier had restricted the advance payment facility inJuly 2018.
