In Turkey, thirty-five people were killed and forty wounded in a terror attack on a nightclub in Istanbul during the New Year’s celebrations.

According to Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin, the attack was carried out by one assailant. He was dressed in a Santa Claus costume.

There were reportedly several hundred people in the nightclub at the time.
