Why government has suspended three senior officers of CADD

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The federal government on Thursday suspended three senior officers of the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) including Senior Joint Secretary, Ch Mubarik Ali (BS-21), Joint Secretary, Zafar Nasrullah Khan (BS-20) and Deputy Secretary, Khizar Saleem Khokhar (BS-19) for three months.
A notification in this respect was issued by the Establishment Division here.
Following is the text of the notification:-
"No. 3/1/2017-D.1: The competent authority has approved suspension of following officers in terms of Rule 5(I)(i) of the Government Servants (E&D) Rules, 1973 with immediate effect for a period of three months:-
a) Ch. Mubarik Ali (SG/BS-21),
Senior Joint Secretary (Admn), CA&DD
b) Mr. Zafar Nasrullah Khan (PAS/BS-20),
Joint Secretary, M/o IPC
(Ex-Additional Secretary, CA&DD)
c) Mr. Khizar Saleem Khokhar (SG/BS-19),
Deputy Secretary (Admn), CA&DD
2. They shall be entitled to full amount of salary and other benefits as admissible under FR-53 (b) during the suspension period."
