Why CM Camp office in Model town has been denotified

Special Secretary to Punjab CM Syed Waseem Raza Jaffery issued the notification, de-notifying the chief minister’s camp office in Model Town.
The said residence of the Punjab CM was declared a camp office in 2011.
The action was taken after Dr Yasmin Rashid, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for NA-120 by-poll, scheduled to be held on September 17, had filed a petition against the Punjab CM, Maryam Nawaz and others accusing them of violating election code of conduct by holding the by-poll campaign in the Model Town camp office
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz, who is running the election campaign of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate for the by-poll, had held two meeting with the party workers regarding the election campaign.
The returning officer of NA-120 had also written a letter to the Punjab chief secretary to response to the matter.
