QUETTA: Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Javaid Bajwa visited the Quetta Garrison on Friday and addressed the officers and the Jawans on the occasion.
He said that we are the army of the people of Pakistan and shall continue to perform our duty with their full support.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, the COAS stated this while visiting the Quetta Garrison on Friday. He interacted with officers/ soldiers and appreciated their morale and motivation.
He was given a detailed briefing on the security situation of the province at Headquarters Southern Command and Headquarters FC Balochistan (North).
The COAS was apprised that there has been a phenomenal reduction in sectarian targeting while terrorists in desperation were now targeting Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and soft targets.
The COAS appreciated the achievements of the army, FC, police, intelligence and other agencies including provincial administration towards improvement of security situation.
