Uzair Baluch confesses links with Iranian Intelligence Agency

KARACHI: Investigation from Head of Lyari gang war and leader of People Aman Committee Uzair Baluch has been completed here at today while Joint Investigation Team report stated that the accused left for Dubai via Iran in 2013.
As per details, Uzair Baluch has confessed killing of 198 people as well as links with Iranian Intelligence agency saying that he shared sensitive information with Iranian Intelligence authorities.
159 people were killed by Uzair Baluch over linguistics basis while he was also arrested in 2006, JIT report stated, adding that Challan in seven cases was presented in court against Uzair but he managed to release himself due to poor investigation.
The accused confessed of killing Arshad Papu, Yasir Irfat, Shera Pathan as well as 11 people in Sher Shah Kabari Market while Uzair also confessed to kill two Rangers personnel in 2005.
Mullah Nisar, Ustad Taju, Sohail Dada, Shahid, Saleem, Rehan, Ahsan, Ilyas and Arif were involved in dealing of weapons while 14 member of gang fled abroad and they are living in South Africa, Dubai, Oman and Iran.
Uzair had several accouts in the name of his wife while he had fake birth certificate, Iranian ID Card and Passports.
Uzair further revealed that his meeting with Iranian intelligence agency official through a man, namely Haki Nisar and he provided sensitive information to agency.
JIT recommended in its report to trial these cases in military court saying that facilitators of arrested accused should also be involved in investigation while cases should also be sent to NAB and FIA.
