US-North Korea War: Will this be Donald Trump's legacy

WASHINGTON: While there have been so much going on in the world of politics right now, tensions have escalated as US warships head toward Korean peninsula following provocative missile launches on April 5 by Kim Jong-un's regime.

Korean news agency KCNA quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying Trump’s deployment showed “reckless moves for invading” that had now “reached a serious phase”.

The statement added: "We will hold the US wholly accountable for the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by its outrageous actions.”

The recent visit of Chinese president Xi Jingping to formally meet his US counterpart Donald Trump for the first time covered, among many issues, the provocative fashion Kim Jong-un's been casting missiles in the air.

Trump claimed to have informed Chinese counterpart of what the future may hold in the wake of missile tests.

On Tuesday, Donald Trump was seen tweeting:

Are we looking at a possible war anytime soon? Can America afford to engage in a war directly at the moment? Puzzling questions analysts have been attempting to unravel creating hypothetical warlike situation.
