US government had executed 3 persons in the past defying ICJ orders

The US governments between 1998 to 2003 did not comply with the orders of th international court to halt executions of three persons.
The United States has set a precedent in this regard to not compromise over national stability irrespective of ICJ’s orders in an issue.
Nationals belonging to Mexico, Paraguay and Germany were sentenced to death in the past and the UN court had ordered to halt their executions.
However, the United States did not comply with the orders and executed all three persons.
Pakistan maintained before the ICJ on May 15 during hearing of Indian plea seeking provisionally stay of execution of her spy on death row in Pakistan, Kulbhushan Jadhav, that the government does not accept its jurisdiction in issues that involve national stability.
