UN special Envoy to Kashmir to raise Indian Army atrocities at UN

BRUSSELS - Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has demanded of the European Union to send its fact finding mission to Occupied Kashmir to observe massive human rights violations by Indian troops.

He was talking to newsmen after meeting the Special Envoy of United Nations on Human Rights for Europe Brigitvan Hout in Brussels on Sunday.

The AJK Prime Minister said the United Nations and Europe should take serious steps and stop India for using lethal weapons on the innocent people of held valley.

He said Indian army is involved in genocide of Kashmiris to suppress the indigenous Kashmir liberation movement.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan told the Special Envoy of United Nations on Human Rights that Indian army through pallet guns targeting Kashmiri youth and depriving them from their eyesight permanently.

He said Indian forces are also violating ceasefire agreement and targeting civil population on the Line of Control.

On this occasion, the UN Special Envoy on Human Rights assured AJK Prime Minister that she will take up this issue in United Nations.
