UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has called for cooperation to tackle security challenges in the Mediterranean region.
Addressing a UN Security Council meeting in New York, he said the Mediterranean is facing multiple security challenges, like terrorism, illicit trade in narcotics, environmental degradation and forced displacement.
