UAE lifts ban on import of poultry products from Pakistan

The United Arab Emirates has formally lifted eight years old ban on import of poultry and poultry products from Pakistan.
This was announced by Ministry of Commerce in Islamabad on Tuesday.
UAE has granted permission to companies which are certified for export and possessing health certificates by the UAE in this regard.
Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir speaking on the occasion said Pakistan appreciates the lifting of ban on poultry by our longstanding trading partner and brotherly nation.
UAE annually imports more than 700 million dollars of poultry products and lifting of the ban will open this market for Pakistan exporters.
