Three names surface for new Finance Minister of Pakistan as Ishaq Dar refuses to return back home

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has decided to extend his stay in London after National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed an appeal against Lahore High Court verdict in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills’ case.

According to informed sources, his decision to extend his stay is not conditioned with the bail against his arrest warrants, which were issued on Wednesday (yesterday) after he failed to turn up before the court.

Sources further said that Finance Minister would weigh up hearing of Hudaibiya Paper Mills case in Supreme Court before making any decision with regard to returning back to Pakistan.

Names of Ali Jahangir, Sartaj Aziz and Miftah Ismail are being contemplated for new finance minister, sources further said.
