Terrorists have entered Afghanistan from Pakistan after Operation Zarb-e-Azab by Pak Army: US General
KABUL: The US Lieutenant General John W. Mick Nicholson Jr. said that the terrorists have entered Afghanistan after the operation  Zarb-e-Azab against terrorists by Pak Army.

While addressing the members of the Senate Armed Services Committee, General Nicholson stated that more effective action needs to taken against ISIS and Taliban who have created hideouts  in Afghanistan.

During these circumstances US will not sit politely, he said.

There are near about 9800 US troops in Afghanistan. In last October, US President Obama decided to reduce troop’s level to near zero by the end of 2016.

US troops would shrink to 5500 by the end of the year but Obama advisers are pressing Obama that the current level of 9800 troops be mantained until he leaves office in January 2017.
