Terrorists entering Sindh from Balochistan: Sindh CM

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has on Wednesday said that the terrorists in the province are entering from the Balochistan.

He said this during his meeting with a 29-member delegation of Foreign Service Academy.

The Sindh CM said that 1,28,000 criminals have been nabbed in the Karachi operation, while 1258 accused were killed.

“Karachi is changing as incidents of target killing, extortion and terrorism were on the rise but now peace has been restored in the city,” he added.

Murad Ali Shah went on to say that they have launched safe citizen project in the metropolis and around 10,000 CCTV cameras were being installed, while Karachi Circular Railway project has also been restarted which will help traffic issued.

He said: “The terrorists are entering province from Balochistan, adding that special security arrangements have been made on the Punjab-Sindh border along with Punjab government.”
