Terrorist of banned outfit killed in encounter with CTD

KHAIRPUR (APP): The Counter Terrorism Department on Monday killed a terrorist of a banned outfit in an encounter.
According to details, the CTD over some intelligence report, had setup a check-post at the Sukkur- Shikarpur Road near Buss Terminal Sukkur, the terrorists upon seeing the CTD officials opened fire.
During exchange of fire one terrorist was killed, while others managed to escape. The law enforcement agency has launched a hunt to apprehend the other terrorists.
Talking to newsmen here, SSP CTD, Sukkur Irfan, SSP CTD Karachi Umar Shahid Hamid said that the terrorists tried to enter Sukkur from Balochistan area.
They further informed that explosive material and a hand gun was also recovered from the killed terrorist.
SSPs said that killed terrorist was identified as Kamran Bhattibelonging to Lashkar-i- Jangvi Naeem Bhukhari Group and he was involved in attacks on SSP Chaudhry Aslam, Pak Navy, Amjad Sabri and in other cases. Kamran was Ameer of Sindh chapter.
