Tarbela Dam water level approaching dangerous marks

HARIPUR: (APP) Water level of Tarbela dam on Saturday has reached 1,541 feet because of that only 9 feet more storage reservoir capacity is left.
According to Tarbela dam officials, maximum water storage capacity of the dam is 1,550 feet, where owing to high temperatures and monsoon rain water inflow is increasing rapidly which is now 163,200 cusec. In coming few days water reservoir would reach at its maximum.
The increased outflow of water from the dam is 150,000 cusec. Power generation level of Tarbela Dam has also reached at its peak 3,423 Megawatts where all 14 hydro power generation units of Tarbela Dam are working with full capacity.
