ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Special three member bench resumed the hearing of the Panama Papers case today.
Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) will decide the names for the joint investigation team which will probe the Panama Papers Case against the Sharif family, Samaa reported.
A three-member special bench led by Justice Ijaz Afzal Khan heard the implementation of Panama papers case.
The top court has summoned the heads of Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and State Bank of Pakistan on Friday and asked them to bring a list of officers above Grade 18.
Justice Ijaz Afzal Khan said that there should be transparency in the probe of the Panama Papers.
“It is necessary that the court has confidence on the members of the joint investigation team,” Justice Sheikh Azmat remarked.
“The court itself will come up with names for the investigation team,” Justice Azmat remarked.
SC added that the court itself will give the approval for the names.
