Supreme Court issues contempt of court notice to "Jang and News" group over false reporting Panama JIT final report

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has grilled Jang and The News Newspaper story about the Panama Case JIT final report.
Supreme Court bench may go against the newspaper and the editor in the coming days in this regard.
Earlier the Panama Case Bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, ordered on Monday that the identity of the person responsible for leaking Hussain Nawaz's interrogation picture should be made public.
The prime minister's son had petitioned the top court asking for the formation of a judicial commission to probe the leaking of his picture during a session of the Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
The government, over the weekend, had submitted its response on the issue on the directions of the bench.
Responding to Hussain's plea, Justice Ejaz observed that the government can form a commission on the issue if it deems fit.
