Supreme Court hears contempt of court case against Jang group

ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court has on Tuesday adjourned hearing of contempt of court case against Jung Group for inaccurate reporting until August 21.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court resumed hearing of the contempt of court case against Jung Group for inaccurate reporting.
During the proceedings, the Jung Group lawyer submitted written reply in the court.
In their reply submitted in the apex court, Jung group CEO Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and Mir Javaid Rehman expressed regret over the inaccurate reporting.
The reply further stated that the Jung group shouldn’t be separated from other media houses.
