Startling revelations surface in London Flats inquiry by ex FIA Director
ISLAMABAD: Startling revelations have surfaced in the Panama Case inquiry against the Sharif Family by the former Director of the Federal Investigation Agency in the programme aired on the Samaa TV.

In a startling interview, former Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) official said that a 1993 probe into the Park Lane Apartment had found no sign of any Qatari letter.

“The Park Lane property was part of our investigations in 1993. There was no existence of any Qatari letter at that time,” Mr. Inam ur Rehman, a former deputy director of the FIA, told SAMAA’s senior anchorperson Nadeem Malik in his talk show 'Nadeem Malik Live' on Saturday.

“We had conducted a full inquiry into the Park Lane apartment. The file later disappeared,” he said.

He further said that in addition to Nelson and Nescol Company, the ruling Sharif family also had a second Panama company to manage Hudabya Paper Mills and Iteefaq Engineering.

The former FIA official said that JIT could summon the record of the second company if it desired so.

“I can do anything against corruption. I am willing to appear before the JIT if security is provided,” he said.

Responding to another question, Mr Rehman said that if summoned by the JIT, he would produce the documentary evidence.
