SP Mubarak Shah among 4 police officers martyred in Quetta

QUETTA: Quetta was hit by another incident of target killing when the unknown gunmen targeted the Senior Police Officer of Balochistan Police SP Mubarak Shah.
Four policemen, including Quaidabad SP Mubarak Shah, were martyred when unidentified gunmen targeted the SP's official vehicle near Killi Deeba area of Quetta on Monday, Geo News reported.
Three policemen guarding the SP died on the spot, while Shah succumbed to wounds later in the hospital.
Following the incident, the police cordoned off the area and began investigation. Initial reports said 9mm shells were recovered from the site of the attack.
Sources said the SP had just left his residence when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle fired on his vehicle and fled.
