Six terrorists killed by CTD and Police in Lahore


LAHORE: Six terrorists were killed in a joint action of Counter Terrorism Department and Police in Lahore here at Tuesday night while four terrorists managed to escape the scene.

 

According to police spokesperson, CTD and Lahore Police conducted raid here at Sagian Pull, area of Lahore on tip-off intelligence and tried to arrest terrorists but they started indiscriminate firing on the police team.

 

In response Police and CTD personnel conducted operation against them and killed six terrorists while their four accomplices managed to flee away from the scene, taking advantage of darkness.

 

CTD officials claimed that the dead terrorists had association with banned outfit TTP and they were also wanted by police in several heinous crimes including attacks on police and other terrorist’s activities.

 

Huge cache of arms were recovered by police from their possession which includes 5 kg explosive material, 2 Kalashnikovs, 4 pistols, 4 detonators, 3 bikes and thousands of bullets.

 

CTD officials further added that the dead bodies of dead terrorists has been shifted to dead house while raids are being conducted by police and CTD to arrest the flee terrorists.
