Six Pakistani companies make entry into Financial Times Stock Exchange Index

KARACHI- Six public companies of Pakistan are now set to be put on the list of the Financial Times Stock Exchange’s (FTSE) Global Equity Index, the local media reported.
The names, which are registered on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), include Engro Corporation Limited (ENGRO), Habib Bank Limited (HBL), The Searle Company Limited (SEARL), Nishat Mills Limited (NML), Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC), and Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MARI).
Listing of these six corporations on FTSE Global Equity Index will officially be made on March 20, 2017.
