Sindh government enhances investigation money of various crimes

KARACHI: (APP) The Government of Sindh has enhanced the amount allocated for the investigation of various crimes in the province.
A police spokesman said here on Friday that the amount for investigation of crimes like murders, gang rape, extortion and kidnapping for ransom has been enhanced from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 100,000 respectively.
The amount for investigation of blasts, suicide attacks, anti- state and anti-social activities, target killings of personnel of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) has been increased up to Rs. 500,000.
It was pointed out that the enhancement in amount would also help effective and concrete investigation of the cases and the criminals would be brought to justice at the earliest.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, has appreciated the provincial government for increase in amount for the investigation of cases.
He directed all the DIGs to ensure that the amount is disbursed in a transparent manner and investigation of all the aspects of cases should be improved further.
