Sibbi-Harnai railway section upgradation status

LAHORE: (APP) The upgradation of Sibbi-Harnai railway section is speedily going on and it will be completed in time.
These views were expressed by Pakistan Railways Chief Executive Officer M Javaid Anwar while presiding over a meeting with a delegation of National Logistic Cell (NLC) held at PR headquarters here on Thursday.
It was decided to construct Harnai railway station according to the international standard, to which, the PR CEO directed to present at least three proposed designs of new Harnai railway station.
It was also decided the section would be constructed on such standard that it might remain open in all weathers.
Earlier, the NLC delegation gave briefing about the upgradation and restoration of the section.
It is pertinent to mention that under this project, Sibbi railway station will be up-graded. Parking area will be improved and a beautiful cafeteria would also be constructed for passengers.
The meeting was attended by PR Advisor Anjum Pervaiz, Additional General Manager Traffic Maqsoodun Nabi, Additional General Manger Mechanical Liaqat Ali Chughtai, Additional General Manager Infrastructure Hamayun Rasheed and other officers.
