Shahid Khaqan appoints Air Blue director as special Assistant to PM

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of JS Private Equity Management Ali Jahangir Siddiqui has been appointed as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, on Wednesday, Samaa has reported.
Ali Jahangir is one of the board members of Airblue Limited--a leading airline service in Pakistan owned by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
JS Group has invested millions of dollars in Airblue Limited. As per the notification issued by the Cabinet Division of the Government of Pakistan, his position as the prime minister's Special Assistant will be equivalent to that of a Minister of State.
