Shahid Afridi thanks Indian cricket team and Virat Kohli

KARACHI: Former Pakistan T20 and ODI cricket captain Shahid Khan Afridi on Friday thanked the Indian cricket team as well as Virat Kohli for their gift to him; a signed jersey of the Indian Test skipper.
Virat Kohli is one of the most prized cricketers in the world of cricket today and regarded as arguably the best batsman in the world presently, Therefore, to have a signed jersey of the Indian batting maestro definitely means something.
Recently-retired and former Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Khan Afridi thanked the Indian cricket team and Virat Kohli for giving him a gift. The gift is a signed Kohli jersey which Afridi hangs on a wall in his house.
Written on the tee-shirt was a message from Virat Kohli which read, “Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you.”
The jersey bore the signatures of Kohli, Ashish Nehra, Suresh Raina, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Hardik Pandya, among others.
An elated Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to snap a picture of the jersey and thanked Kohli as well as the Indian team for the gift.
