Senior Police officer along with wife, son martyred in Quetta

QUETTA - A senior police officer and three members of his family were martyred in a terrorist attack in a Quetta neighbourhood on Wednesday night.
SP Investigations Muhammad Ilyas, his wife, son, and a brother were killed when terrorists riding motorcycles ambushed their vehicle in the Nawan Killi area of Quetta, according to police.
The deadly shooting came less than a week after another senior police official was martyred in a suicide attack.
Additional Inspector General Hamid Shakeel and two other police officials were martyred when the bomber struck as his vehicle drove past Chaman Housing Scheme last Thursday.
