Senate elections for general seat of Punjab, schedule announced

Elections for general seat of the Senate from Punjab falling vacant due to resignation of Babar Awan would be held on 8th of next month.
According to a notification of the Election Commission, nomination papers would be received on 25th and their scrutiny held on 27th of this month.
Members of the Provincial Assembly would elect the Senator.
