Self-determination right only solution to Kashmir issue: IOK HCBA

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The High Court Bar Association (HCBA) in occupied Kashmir has said that plebiscite under the auspices of the United Nations is the only solution to the Kashmir dispute.
The HCBA in a statement issued in Srinagar supported the by- election boycott call given by the resistance leadership. The Bar said, "Any participation of people in any election is misrepresented by India before the world community," adding that New Delhi always tried to mislead the world by equating the holding of so-called elections in the territory to a kind of plebiscite acknowledged to the Kashmiris by the international community, KMS reported.
The Bar urged the people to boycott sham parliamentary elections being held on April 9 and 12 in Srinagar and Islamabad constituencies.
Meanwhile, Hurriyet leaders Bilal Siddique, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Khawaja Firdous Wani in their statements issued in Srinagar reiterated boycott call for upcoming parliamentary elections, saying that casting vote tantamount to treason with the blood of martyrs.
