Sources said that PCB has decided to set up national team training camp in Hampshire County on June 16 on the proposal of Chief Selector Inzamam ul Haq.

Chief Selector Inzamam ul Haq argued that before the due dates of England tour, training camp in England would be useful for Pakistani players to understand the weather and wickets conditions of England.

It would be beneficial for Pakistani players to play on England Pitches before starting series with England team.

On the other hand, Chief Selector proposal has been approved by Pakistan Cricket Board however, programme would be finalized after the approval of PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan.
