Security Threat Alert issued for Lahore

LAHORE – Punjab Home Department has issued a threat alert on August 21 over possible terror attack on Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, commonly known as Mall Road.
The government has directed district administration and law enforcement agencies to tighten security.
It is pertinent to mention here that lawyers have resorted to protests on the Mall Road owing to a verdict passed today by high court chief justice.
