Saudi Arabia will have to take initiative to restore ties: Iranian President Rouhani

PARIS: Iranian President Hassan Rohani said that restoring diplomatic ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia was a priority, but it was up to Riyadh to take the initiative.
The relation between Iran and Saudi Arabia were harmed after the execution of Shiite cleric Sheikh Nimr by Saudi Arabia.
President Rohani condemned the attack on Saudi embassy in Iran but never apologized to Saudi Arabi. He said that “We condemned this action, our responsibility was to find the culprit of the attack. We have found them, We arrested them, They are in prison, said Rohani in an interview.
Iran said that near about 100 suspects have been arrested who were involved in Saudi embassy attack.
