Saudi Arabia ready to join anti ISIS ground troops in Syria: Saudi General

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is ready to take part in ground operation with US-led coalition against ISIS militant groups in Syria.
“If there is any willingness in the coalition to go in the ground operation, we will contribute positively in that,” said Brigadier General Ahmed al-Assiri during an interview with Al-Arabiya TV news.
This is the first time when Saudi Arabia announced to participate in ground operation against ISIS in Syria.
Saudi Arabia is the first Arab country to join anti ISIS coalition.
Saudi Arabia had set up a military coordination with Turkey last month which will be used against ISIS.
Saudi Arabia is being targeted by ISIS in suicide bombing recently.
More than 300,000 people have been killed in last 5 years of Syrian war and half of the population has left their homes.
