Sartaj Aziz speaks about Sajjan Jindal visit to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister advisor on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz has spoken about the Sajjan Jindal visit to Pakistan.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, said on Saturday that Indian steel tycoon Sajjan Jindal's visit to Pakistan was a private one and it had nothing to do with Kulbhushan Jhadav's case.

Conducting a media briefing in Islamabad, Sartaj Aziz rejected the perception that Pakistan had reacted hastily with regard to Kulbhushan Jhadav's case. He said that the International Court of Justice's verdict regarding the Indian spy had not at all changed Pakistan's position on the issue.

"Kulbhushan was sentenced according to the law and constitution," he said. "The International Court of Justice has given no order to grant consular access to Jhadav," he added.

Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan's case was still strong and that a stay order on the execution was a normal decision in the International Court of Justice. He said that Pakistan would appoint an ad hoc judge in the International Court of Justice.

"The decision would have been the same even if an ad hoc judge had been there," he said.
