Russia strengthens foothold in Syria

A ceasefire between Syrian forces and rebels has been agreed in north of Homs.
Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said it would be the third such de-escalation zone put in place after talks between all stake holders.
He said Russia will establish two checkpoints and three observation posts in the region.
