Rulers are worried about Rangers and NAB action in Punjab: Opposition Leader

KARACHI: Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khursid Ali Shah said that he did not know about the corruption in Punjab but the politics is taking new turn every day.

 

As per details, he was talking to media in Lahore here at Monday. He said that when NAB started to take action in Punjab then PML-N and provincial ministers started to criticize NAB.

 

Khurshid Shah added that rulers are worried about the action of NAB and Rangers in Punjab and the reaction of PML-N are showing their internal frustration but rulers must let the NAB work.

 

Talking about the Model Town incident he stated that CM Shahbaz announced to resign if he proved guilty but when Punjab government had been declared responsible by JIT report then investigation turned to somewhere.

 

Talking about the Orange line train he said that costly projects are being started by Punjab government in Lahore ignoring other districts of Punjab. He asked government that how many funds have been provided in South Punjab and Lahore?

 

He expressed his grief over the unfair distribution of funds in Punjab saying that Rs. 400 billion funds are being distributed unfairly by the government.

 

Opposition leader expressed his concerns over the performance of Punjab government adding that nation has reservation over LNG project.
