RAW backed Insurgency, Oil Interests, CPEC & Massacre of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar

“Our foreign policy needs to support our energy, economic, defense and domestic policies. It all falls within the arch of national interest. There will be windows of opportunity, but they will open and close quickly,” says Chuck Hagel an American Politician.

Myanmar, a word which has taken over social media since last few weeks, with more than 400 Rohingya Muslims killed and a million displaced, the crises of Myanmar has become a regional threat to South-Asian security.

Many asks that how Myanmar-Rohingya crises has become a threat to South-Asian security? Before we have a look at the answer of question, let’s first have a short look at History & Geography of Myanmar as it holds important significance in understanding Rohingya Crises. Old English official name of Myanmar was Union of Burma (1885-1989) which was then changed to Myanmar after the end of dictatorship which lasted from 1962-1989, but that was not the end of problems faced by a minority ethnic Muslim group Rohingya, who faced constant oppression from opposite ethnic and religious groups including Myanmar Army just because they believed the Rohingya Muslims were planning to take over Myanmar during the 21st Century as they were misled by the 786 numerical symbol, 7+8+6=21, which in fact is the total value of the letters of "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim", commonly used by the Muslims in Myanmar for representing Halal meat and restaurants but sadly had disastrous consequences.

Now if we take a geographical look at Myanmar, it actually shares border with Bangladesh & India at its West while at its East it shares border with China, Laos & Thailand. Myanmar is also the oldest oil producing country in the region & India is keen interested in oil of Myanmar to fulfill its growing refined oil needs.

Problem is the Rohingya Muslims living in Rakhine State of Myanmar which holds a significant amount of oil reserves, enough for India to cover 15-20% of oil consumption once Indian oil companies get hold of oil reserves after dealing with Government of Myanmar which is that Indian oil companies would help Myanmar refine crude oil as Myanmar lack the technology and have old infrastructure for refining crude oil.

We will not dig deep into the past but it is bitter truth that Rohingya were now living peacefully within their villages knowing that they do not have any weapons to fight with; no one to help them and any aggression towards the government would trigger another wave of brutal killings of Rohingya as happened in the past. Now how in the world did “Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army” came into existence? Myanmar government claiming that Leader of ARSA is Atta Ullah who was born in Karachi, grew up in Mecca & was trained in Pakistan for 6months under Taliban? Any sane person can understand that such claims make no logic without evidences and it can be seen who is guiding Myanmar Government to say so, obviously those who have oil interests in Myanmar and meantime have problem with “China Pakistan Economic Corridor”.

According to Government of Myanmar ARSA conducted series of attacks on police check posts & army, but can they please answer who supplied those weapons? India, Bangladesh having a Pro-Indian Government, China, Laos or Thailand? If it was so easy to just say that Atta Ullah was trained in Pakistan then the Government of Myanmar must know if it was Pakistan too who supplied them weapons or not?

Let’s expose the illusions being drawn by the so called regional power and targets they want to achieve. We all know “Kulbhushan Yadav” an intelligence officer of RAW who was tasked to destabilize Baluchistan, CPEC and in the meantime India funding Chabahar Port in Iran. That is one side of game, other side of game is being played in Myanmar

India knows very well that people of Pakistan are really emotional when it comes to supporting Muslims living in other countries. India knows very well that Pakistan have good relations with China and that China is building CPEC a project of One Belt One Road and that China also have good relations with Myanmar

Target was to get Rohingya Muslims killed or displaced through Government of Myanmar and its Army, bringing both on one page against Rohingya and obviously China would take side with Myanmar while Pakistan would side with Rohingya Muslims, ultimately causing friction between Pakistan and China Relations, CPEC (One Belt One Road) and to create such a scenario an Insurgent group was needed, which would attack Myanmar Police & Army, helping make an excuse of starting operation against Rohingya in Myanmar in front of World Community and in meantime propagating highly graphic images on social media which were not even of Rohingya and finally psychologically preparing Muslims around the world and specially Pakistan to protest against ethnic genocide of Rohingya Muslims and cut off ties with Myanmar or any deals made with Myanmar, we all know that Pakistan China had a deal of delivering 16 JF-17 jets to Myanmar which was worth US$240 Million.

So who is the biggest beneficiary of Rohingya crises & how it is threat for security of South-Asia, we have the answer. We people of Pakistan should be well aware of how a rivalry state plans and play their game plans to protect and propagate their national interests and we sometimes underestimate the influence of little moves made by the competitor state, which if seen together have consequences as a whole, only if we know how they do it, will we be able to counter such challenges.
