Raddul Fasaad: Crack down across country on criminals and Militants

Law enforcement agencies have on Tuesday apprehended dozens of suspects including Afghan nationals during search operation conducted across the country under Operation Raadul Fassad following a recent wave of terror.

In Swat, police carried out a raid in Matta area and detained terrorists and recovered explosive material and detonators. The arrested terrorists were shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation.

In Sheikhupura, at least 18 nabbed during a search operation, while, 17 persons including women were detained from Pakpattan. Weapons and drugs were also recovered from them.

In Chiniot, five persons were arrested during search operation in city’s Bhawana and Chenab Nagar, while three suspected persons were rounded up during search operation in Rahim Yar Khan.

Three suspects were arrested during a combing operation conducted by the Rangers and police in Badin.

In Peshawar, at least 11 suspects were held during search and strike operation in the provincial capital’s different areas.

Meanwhile, Sindh police arrested 88 illegal immigrants from different areas of Karachi.

Sindh Rangers have also arrested ten criminals including terrorists of a banned outfit during raids in various parts of the city. Arms, ammunition and narcotics were also recovered from them.
