Punjab Province administrative division planned by government

LAHORE: The government of Punjab has taken a vital decision about the administartive issues of the Punjab province as it has been decided to facilitate the general public by dividing the Punjab province administratively into two Units.
The Punjab government has reportedly decided to divide the province into two administrative units, reported Geo News on Monday.
An Additional Secretary for South Punjab and an Additional Chief Secretary for Central Punjab will be appointed to handle public issues in the respective divisions.
It added that rescue services will be transferred from the home secretary to the additional chief secretary’s domain.
Former Additional Secretary Pervaiz Masood while talking to Geo News, welcomed the development, adding that it would be beneficial for the public.
