Punjab Police saves Rawalpindi from disastrous terror plot

RAWALPINDI:The Punjab Police on Thursday recovered 600 dynamites from a vehicle coming from Mardan, foiling a terrorism bid.
Talking to APP, Inspector Ch Akhtar Ali of NaseerabadPolice said during routine checking ,a vehicle was stopped near Koh i Noor mills and during search explosive material was recovered while the accused Muzamil Khan managed to flee.
Police have registered a case against the accused and are conducting raids to arrestthe criminal, he added. APP/tmg/smh
