Punjab Police official martyred in Rawalpindi in target killing

RAWALPINDI: An incident of target killing has happened in Rawalpindi whereby the Punjab Police official has been hit by the unknown gunmen.
The police official was martyred in the targeted attack by unidentified assailants within the limits of the Airport police jurisdiction in Rawalpindi.
Police officials said the martyred policeman, identified as constable Mohammad Siddiq, was returning back to his quarter after his duty finished when unidentified attackers opened fire.
The constable received seven bullet wounds and died on the spot, officials informed. His body has been transported to a hospital for post-mortem.
