PTI takes to the streets over social media crackdown
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has taken to the streets in Islamabad and Karachi in protest to the government crackdown upon the social media users over the charges of defaming Pakistan Army. Imran had already warned the government over the crackdown on PTI social media users.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf staged protests in the cities of Karachi and Islamabad against the government's recent crackdown against social media activists, on Monday.

According to details, the PTI leadership in Karachi and Islamabad took to the streets in front of the Karachi Press Club and the National Press Club. 

A large number of female activists were also among the protesters who chanted slogans against the government and demanded authorities release all detained as part of the ongoing crackdown against social media activists.

Participants held banners on which slogans against the government and for the freedom of speech were written.
