PTI Chief lauds KP government to introduce educational reforms

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Chairman, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan on Wednesday said keeping in view importance of education, the provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was spending more in this domain to achieve better results.

Addressing an event 'Reforming Education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Accomplishments, challenges and Looking Ahead' he said PTI government inducted 40,000 teachers on merit in the KP.

Lauding KP government for introducing education reforms in the province, he said his party was giving top priority to women education.

"My mother was educated and only because of her I completed my education," he said, adding the role of educated mother was very important.

Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak, Provincial Education Minister Atif Khan and senior officials of ministry of Education KP were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, in their brief addresses, they highlighted education reforms in KP.
